Tip n°1/ Autumn Festival at Le Vieux Mas

This traditional local farmhouse has recreated a 19th-century farm setting, and to say the least, the locals are having a ball ! For All Saints' Day, they've come up with a magnificent Autumn Festival, complete with shows, parades, discovery of farm animals and pumpkin soup (of course!).

Tip n°2/ The puppet and animated forms festival

Every year, Terre d'Argence is delighted to host this marvellous puppet festival, which combines tenderness and humour. There are several top-quality shows on offer, with sound and visual effects to match. Choose your program !

The 36th Festival de la marionnette et des formes animés takes place in Fourques.
Dates : October 23-26, 2023
Recommended age: great for children aged 3 and over

Games for the whole family

Tip n°3/ The Raimond escape-game and the quest for the Grail at the fortress

Halfway between an escape-game and a treasure hunt, this adventure takes place in the remains of Beaucaire's medieval castle. You'll need daring, insight and teamwork to complete this mission !
The game takes place outdoors (walkways, gardens) and in the castle's rooms, allowing you to discover areas usually closed to the public. Online reservations are strongly recommended.
This is a really good idea for discovering heritage while having fun: the setting is magnificent, with the fortress overlooking the Rhône and the rooftops of Beaucaire.
Please note: the escape game closes at the end of November.

Duration : 1h15 to 2h
Dates : Wednesday to Saturday during the autumn vacations

Tip n°4/ "Les Lauriers de Césars" escape-room

A new adventure in Terre d'Argence starting in October ! Come and play with your family and solve all the riddles !

New theme to discover: "Caesar's Laurels" !
Emperor Julius Caesar has entrusted you with a mission of the utmost importance : to recover his precious laurel wreath. Enter his mysterious command tent, and carry out your mission... Before the Gauls attack !

The game is accessible to children aged 7 and over, and is perfectly suited to teenagers and adults (the presence of an adult per team is compulsory). It's a cooperative game, and the puzzles are designed so that everyone can participate according to their abilities.

Session length : 40 minutes.
Teams of 3 minimum to 5 maximum players.

Good to know : the escape room Les lauriers de César is itinerant. It travels from town to town in the Terre d'Argence region.

Tip n°5/ Haunted night at Le Vieux Mas

Here's the perfect activity for your teenagers in search of a thrill ! To celebrate Halloween, Le Vieux Mas has organized a night full of surprises: strange inhabitants are hidden in every nook and cranny of this old farmhouse. Sensitive souls are advised to abstain, and this activity is strongly discouraged for children under 10. Mouahahahahah !

Tip n°6/ Mystères en Terre d'Argence, a giant Cluedo in the streets of our villages !

For some time now, unexplained events have been occurring in the village of Fourques. In Beaucaire, the dressmaker has mysteriously disappeared and in Bellegarde, a potiona has been forgotten. Strange things are also happening in Vallabrègues, and in Jonquières-Saint-Vincent, the local poet has lost his inspiration ! Whether you're on your own or with your family, try to solve these enigmas like Sherlock Holmes and find the culprit ! Discover the hidden wonders of our villages through treasure hunts, a great way to combine culture and fun !

Tip n°10/ Guided tour of Saint Roman Abbey

If you haven't yet discovered this little nugget of our territory, the vacations are surely the right time to remedy that! This abbey, carved out of the rock over thousands of years, is a mysterious and unique place, and the guided tour is the ideal way to find out more about its history.
