For a beautiful quality basketry, one absolutely needs good wicker. That's why Daniel BENIBGHI has planted his own osier bed with selected varieties such as small "grisette", "noir de Vilaine", purpurea...
Wicker is an environmentally friendly material, which in the region does not require any treatment.

Harvesting happens during the winter. The wicker is cut and put into bundles, washed and sorted by lengths every 20 cm. We get sizes ranging from 80 cm to 2 m 60, sometimes more...

Rich in shape, size and color. Round, oval, square, small, medium, large. White wicker, raw or dyed.
Wicker basketry adapts to any interior, and can be made according to your needs, to revive childhood memories or during your heart, restyled according to today’s standards.

Internships and animations:

These classes are an introduction to the ancestral gestures of basketry. Learn to recognize tools and use them well. Touch the material, master the wicker. And finallymake the typical wicker cherry basket of the region.

Individuals and groups (max. 10 people) welcome.

By passing through the door to the left of the basket maker's workshop, you will enter the Basketry Museum, an interesting visit which will allow you to learn more about this forgotten profession.
