mis à jour le 13/03/2024 par Terre d'Argence Tourisme

The Saujan’s Chapel was built in the late Provençal Romanesque style in the 13th century. It is the only remnant of a hamlet that once bordered the road linking Beaucaire to Arles.

Recently restored, the chapel has now regained its yesteryear splendor.

Inside, the single nave composed of three spans. A small cemetery is adjacent to the north side of the chapel. As an annex to the parish of Saint-Paul de Beaucaire, religious services are still taking place here.
