From 4 to 14 October 2024, from island to island and town to town, the Southern Rhône network, led by the CPIE Rhône Pays d'Arles, invites you to (re)discover the river.
From 6pm to 8.30pm : "HIGH AND LOW - SENSITIVE AND PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAITS OF THE 2003 FLOOD"
Come and enjoy a musical reading of texts about the solidarity that emerged during the floods of 2003. The show will be followed by a presentation of Mr ARMANI's research into the perception of flood risk by people living along the river.
Finally, a round table will bring together artists, scientists and elected representatives who have lived through the flood.
At the Salle Béjart, Auditorium "Les 2 Rhônes" in Fourques. No registration required, but places are limited.
With Bazar Place, an artistic collective led by Constance BIASOTTO, Gilles ARMANI, an anthropologist working on the river, and elected representatives from SYMADREM.
2pm to 4pm : "A RIVER STORY"
People have been building near the Rhône for thousands of years. Discover the history of the river and the structures that enable us to cross it, use it and protect ourselves from it.
