At the Fabre-Galopini family, the taste of the orchard is not a matter of family history but of passion. A passion shared between Céline and her husband who jointly decided to start a farm combining the emblematic cultures of this region of Gard, the Terre d'Argence: cherry trees, apricots and table grapes.
In this sun-drenched region, cherries are early ripe.
They therefore favored varieties that arrived early in the calendar such as Burlat or Primulat, which they harvested in just one month (from early May to early June).
In the orchards, Céline's pleasure is the work of the land, irrigation and size. A patient and meticulous work that sees its completion when, after harvesting, she markets her production with the help of an organization of producers from nearby Vaucluse: Côteaux du Ventoux.
But Céline's other passion is beekeeping, which she has been doing for ten years, taking care of around sixty hives on the estate. A passion that combines wonderfully with that of the cherry tree, with bees actively contributing to the pollination of orchards...
