Happy-culteurs engagés!

In a previous life, Gwenn and Céline were head of culture in vegetable gardening. They quickly became aware of the damage caused by phytosanitary treatments and intensive agriculture and decided to change course.
They converted into beekeeping. They install their hives in the vineyards of the Terre d'Argence, the first organic land of Gard. The Domaine de Tavernel in particular, organic wine estate for more than 30 years is an ideal place to lay down their hives.

“The location of the hives is fundamental to harvesting pure and natural honey!”

Our beekeepers regularly perform the transhumance of their hives: they move them to new fields of lavender, chestnut, rosemary, scrubland, looking for varied and healthy pollen for bees!

In 2019, they were the victim of a fire that ravaged almost all of their royal jelly hives. A disaster. They raised funds through an online prize pool and are relaunching their adventure, more motivated than ever.

«We get our guts out! This requires a real personal commitment. But we feel that efforts are starting to pay off. And people regain the pleasure of working the land!»

Their brand “Le Miel Occitan” is available in a wide range of homemade products: honey, pollen, vinegar... Celine is working on a new range of soaps and cosmetics based on honey. We can't wait to test!

And if you want to discover honey extraction, it's here!
