Group outing around Beaucaire: experience the Camargue race like the locals do, attend the race with our expert to understand this Camargue tradition!
From March to November, the Camargue race sets the pace of life in our villages. Anchored in the DNA of Camargue, this traditional sport is an institution.
Here, the Camargue bull is king (no killing and not a drop of blood)! The raseteurs (young men dressed in white) try to catch the attributes placed on the animal's forehead using a hook. The ardor of the bulls of Camargue is well known; only the most lively bulls enter the arena. Raseteurs must be quick and agile to get as close as possible to the bull!
We invite you to discover the codes and secrets of this often unknown sport with our expert Alicia, a native of the country and passionate about bullfighting culture.
