The Bois Joli stables

In a preserved environment, the stables of Bois Joli welcome you for a horseback ride in the countryside or along the Rhône.

Owners' stable, this place is now also an equestrian center and welcomes riders of all levels to improve their riding skills or simply enjoy a ride in the fresh air.
Jonathan and Jill, the club managers, are passionate and in love with their job. They take the greatest care for the well-being of the horses who live here in exceptional conditions. Huge meadows, a 3-hectare wooded park for walking, absolute calm, it is the ideal place for an outdoor activity.

Do you want to go on a horse ride ?
The equestrian center adapts to your desires, your level, and your schedule and offers individualized rides throughout the year.
Lasting 2 hours, each ride begins with a moment to tame the horse: go look for it in the meadow with the halter, brush it, and saddle it.
Preparation and contact with the animal are also part of the experience.
You will then go for a walk accompanied by an approved instructor, in a small group (maximum 5 people).
The ride will take place even if you are only 2 riders and is accessible for beginner riders as well as for experienced riders. The walking groups are organized by level.
The 2-hour walk costs €40 per person.

Do you want to book a pony ride in hand ?
Go for a short walk with your child in the estate's park. In complete autonomy, you can go for a walk with the pony in hand, a moment of complicity to enjoy as a family! The activity can take place every day, throughout the year.
A person from the equestrian center helps you prepare the pony and gives you all the advice so that you can leave peacefully.
The walk in hand costs €10.

You can also book a career course to improve your level or introduce yourself to the pleasures of horseback riding. The 1-hour course costs €30.

The history of the place

With the well-being of horses as an absolute priority, the Bois Joli stables have grown well over the last ten years, guided by passionate and generous owners.
It was already twenty years ago when Anne-Marie and Gilles Rouvière fell under the spell of a property in Vallabrègues. A country house full of character, hectares of fruit trees... Two decades later, although the charm is still undeniable, the huge orchard has given way to the stables of Bois Joli.
The eldest son, Jonathan, transforms the premises into a stable where the horse is king. This passionate, high level horse-ball player and coach, managed to overcome all obstacles with Jil Benedetto, his partner.
For summer 2023, the young couple is offering individualized walks to families who, after a short period of preparation, will enjoy the joys of a pleasant walk in an enchanting setting.
