Discover the brand-new production by the Arles Youth Ballet Company !

Ricardo Amarante came specially from Brazil to create, choreograph and transmit two ballet pieces specifically for the dancers of Arles Youth Ballet Company, in preparation for their new production “Soirée de la Danse”.

“Gaia” is a neo-classical piece that explores the themes of nature, and in particular the four elements of air, earth, water and fire. This piece allows the 25 dancers to express themselves in different registers, both technical and artistic.

A pas de deux “Love Fear Loss” performed by AYBC artistic directors Karina Moreira and Norton Fantinel, also choreographed by Ricardo Amarante, will be presented during the evening, with piano accompaniment by José Arrué, Director of the Cavaillon Conservatoire.

Two other international choreographers are preparing to come in “residence” to create new choreographies for this evening, in a more contemporary register, such as Xenia Wiest, Artistic Director of the Schwerin Ballet in Germany, or Julien Guérin, ex-dancer with the Ballets de Monte Carlo and now an internationally renowned choreographer, who will create a new choreography to the music of Ravel's “Boléro”.

The Arles Youth Ballet Company's performances are full of emotion and energy, and the audience is growing in numbers.
